Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon whole cumin seed
1/2 teaspoon whole coriander seed
1/2 teaspoon whole fennel seed
4 cups water
Preparation
Bring the water to a boil.
Add the spices and reduce to a gentle simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
Strain and serve warm.

1/2 cup split yellow mung dal

4 cups water
Preparation
Rinse the rice and dal thoroughly.
